MedX Spinal Rehabilitation
Mayo Clinic and leading orthopedic centers worldwide.
What is MedX Spinal Technology?
MedX is a medical-grade spinal testing and rehabilitation system developed through decades of research at the University of Florida. Unlike general exercise equipment, MedX machines were specifically engineered to isolate and strengthen the muscles that support your spine—muscles that conventional exercises can’t effectively target.
The technology does two things that change everything about how we treat back and neck pain:
1. Objective Measurement
2. Targeted Strengthening
The Difference
Why MedX Succeeds Where Other Treatments Fail
❌ Traditional Approaches
- Treat symptoms (pain) rather than cause (weakness)
- Subjective diagnosis based on where it hurts
- Generic exercises that don't isolate spinal muscles
- Temporary relief that doesn't last
- Often lead to dependency on ongoing treatment
✓ MedX Approach
- Identifies and treats the root cause
- Objective computer-generated strength data
- Patented isolation targets exact weak points
- Builds lasting strength and stability
- Goal is independence, not ongoing visits
Proven Results, Trusted by the Best
MedX technology isn’t experimental—it’s backed by over 100 peer-reviewed studies and used by some of the most respected medical institutions in the world:

Your Journey
The MedX Treatment Process
Initial Consultation & Assessment
We review your history, discuss your goals, and perform a comprehensive evaluation to determine if MedX is right for you. No obligation—just answers.
MedX Spinal Testing
Using the MedX machines, we generate an objective strength profile of your spine. You'll see exactly where your weak points are compared to healthy norms—the data that guides your entire treatment.
Personalized Treatment Protocol
Based on your test results, we design a targeted strengthening program. Sessions are typically 1-2x per week, focusing on your specific weak points.
Progressive Strengthening
Each session builds on the last. We track your progress with objective measurements—you'll see your strength increasing on the graphs, not just feel better subjectively.
Re-Testing & Graduation
After 8-12 weeks, we retest to document your improvement. Most patients achieve significant strength gains and pain reduction. The goal is lasting independence, not ongoing dependency.
MedX program, my pain went from constant 8/10 to barely noticeable. I’m back to hiking and
playing with my grandkids. I can’t believe I almost went under the knife.”

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Is MedX safe for someone with a disc injury?
Yes. MedX was specifically designed for patients with spinal conditions. The controlled, isolated movements are actually safer than many conventional exercises because they eliminate the twisting, jerking, and compensation that can aggravate injuries. We start conservatively and progress based on your tolerance.
How is this different from physical therapy?
Most physical therapy uses general strengthening exercises that can't isolate the deep spinal muscles. MedX's patented restraint system eliminates compensation from larger muscle groups, allowing us to target the actual weak points in your spine. It's the difference between general fitness and precision rehabilitation.
How long before I see results?
Most patients notice improvement within 3-4 weeks. Significant, measurable strength gains typically occur by 6-8 weeks. The full program runs 8-12 weeks, after which we retest to document your improvement objectively.
Will insurance cover MedX?
We don't bill insurance directly, but we provide HCFA forms that you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Many patients get significant reimbursement through their insurance. We can discuss this during your consultation.
Can MedX help me avoid surgery?
In many cases, yes. Research shows that strengthening the spinal muscles can reduce pain and improve function to the point where surgery becomes unnecessary. Even surgeons use MedX as a pre-surgical protocol—and often find their patients no longer need the operation.
